Rabbi Jesse and his family invite you to their chanukat ha’bayit on Tuesday August 20thfrom 5:30pm-7:30pm. The term Chanukat comes from the Hebrew work chanukah and just like the holiday the meaning is dedication. Bayit is the Hebrew word for home. To mark their move into their new home mere minutes from TBD, Rabbi Jesse will be performing a ceremony in which he will affix a mezuzah to their doorpost to designate their house as a Jewish home. This is a cause for celebration and we hope you will join Rabbi Jesse in this home dedication simcha.
Rabbi Jesse’s address will be distributed via email.
Please come as you can. The event will be open house style. The actual mezuzah ceremony will take place at 6pm and only lasts a few minutes.
Rabbi Jesse will be providing his famous kosher smoked chicken wings and refreshments.
If anyone wishes to bring anything, Rabbi Jesse asks that you bring non-dairy sides or non-dairy desserts.
