The primary objective of membership is to facilitate and assist any prospective members seeking to join Temple Beth David. This includes maintaining and distributing membership booklets, applications and dues material. The committee is usually represented at Friday evening and Saturday morning services and can answer any questions visitors may have about TBD.
Either membership chairperson can put you in touch with the Treasurer to help guide prospective members seeking financial assistance.
Each new membership application goes to the Treasurer who will take it to the next board meeting for approval, and he will notify the prospective members.
The Membership Committee may sponsor different events throughout the year, including a Second Sunday Social to benefit the Education Department and a welcoming service for new members. The Membership Committee will also provide a liaison for new members to help them as they become part of our TBD family.
